Following a Dream!!!!

"Fairies Galore"

(this is where it all started... a dream and a paint brush and the rest is history)

These next few painting were all done in one bedroom... it was for an adorable set of twins.
They were my biggest fans for those 3 days of painting and my best critics too:) 

CARLY'S PRINCESS.....

So the fun continues... my youngest of four children decided that she needed a mural too but she wanted a princess on her wall.  I changed my tune a bit and decided to paint on a canvas instead of that wall... it allowed me to paint while she slept at night, it also gave me the freedom to move furniture around along with her print AND it allowed me to paint in front of the TV... nothing like catching your favorite soap while you paint:)

Go HAWKS!!!

The journey continued and I began to ask friends to paint on their walls to 

gain the experience and to add to my portfolio... the beautiful thing

 is a friend is patient and so encouraging!  

This was a wall mural ... a big guy it was!  

Months later I decided to get serious about my dream ... 

I gave myself a name..."smallFRY designs" and started to paint!!!  

The sky is the limit when it comes to designing a print!  This one I call my FLOWER POWER print.  If you look closely, the white background has a 3-dimensional feel to it.  I used a flexible molding putty and then played around with various tools to come up with this texture. Then to make it pop.. I used a metalic white paint!  Its a keeper!!! And so much prettier in person!!!

 ... and so the painting begins.......
